No idea really. Wouldn't know what screen was used either...
I've only recently looked into LCD displays, because my old CRT monitor was giving in, and LaCie just stopped producing the ElectronBlue IV. Somehow the comparable LCD cost twice as much as the CRT used to cost. That really wasn't an option, not to mention that I'd seen one a bit before that (calibrated), and the CRT version was better IMO...
So I got a used CRT from the site mentioned above 
The way I see it, if I have to buy a new one in 2 or 3 years, displays will be both better and cheaper, and I've not paid much for those 3 years...
