Has anybody tried one of these on their DRebels (or any camera for that matter!)

It sounds ideal but I have not used anything yet on my camera and I would be worried about causing any unecessary damage.

I would probably only use it for the mirror and not the ccd.

Don't mind Bob, he's our resident curmudgeon and keeper of the spellchecker.

And by the way, welcome to the forum.

Since Bob brought it up, technically the Drebel has a CMOS, not a CCD.

Have Fun,

Rick

My apologies, I am still new to my DRebel.

I will set my spellchecker to replace CCD with CMOS ?!

Curmudgeons are incredibly valuable, they help keep us honest! Especially Bob Pease...maybe it's a 'Bob' thing.

You might want to identify who Bob Pease is. I think he is husband to Caroline, isn't he?

Bob Pease?

Why none other than the 'artist of analog', National Semiconductor's great analog engineer and curmudgeon in general.

If you have any interest in analog electronics, his seminars are priceless.

That is the same one as I was thinking of.

Of course, that was way back when Analog was still king.
