Can anyone tell me if it's possible to change the colour space of a file when saving in PS? I shoot in Adobe RGB and save the original files with this space. But, files that I edit for the web I would ideally like to save as sRGB and I can't seem to find any way of changing them :(

I know two possible ways both from Bridge, I'm pretty sure there are others...

1) In Camera Raw

2) Tools ->Photoshop -> Image Processor

How do others deal with colour spaces?

Camera Raw allows you to change the colour space via a dropdown in the Workflow options box.

Image Processor has a checkbox for concerting to sRGB

I'm using lightroom and photoshop. This would mean processing two raw files (one for RGB 1998 and the other for sRGB) and then processing each of these files seperately in photoshop (sRGB for web use and RGB 1998 for master file and printing)

There must be an easier way, so that when the image has been edited in photoshop, I can save it as RGB and then re-size for web and save as sRGB?

It's not just ideal to save Adobe RGB files as sRGB if they are going to be used on the web but a requirement if you want to retain color accuracy. The way to convert your image color space is with, for PS CS, Image > Mode > Convert to Profile... and with PC CS2 and CS3, Edit > Convert to Profile....
