Ablaze with yellow, red, green and lilac

I was done with all my projects by 4 p.m., but the wind continued at its disgusting pace, so the Canon 100mm macro stayed in the bag (AGAIN!). The light was nice in the yard, however, so I spent a bit of time stalking the little birds.

All with the Canon 30D, Canon 100-400L IS at 400mm, handheld, iso200, f8, Av, one-shot focus mode
