And I ran, ran so far away.
But we couldn't escape the attack of the gulls.
This was the same place as the Least Sandpiper and the Semipalmated Plover. These gulls (as far as I could tell Ring-billed and Lesser Black-backed) would sit over on the far shore. Then about every 30 minutes or so, they would lift off en masse and swirl around the pond a couple of times and return to the far shore.
