I was having coffee at a friends house when the this Great Tit landed on a wall nearby. I was amazed at the luminous grub it was about to feed it's chick. Anybody know what the grub is?

This pair of Gossanders were shot under trees with an iso of 500, and I have had to crop quite a bit as they were 30yds away.

I was incorrectly informed -they are not Goosanders they are Red Breasted Mergansers.

Nice shots Paul. I don't know the name of the grub, but it's some kind of tree caterpillar. And it looks very much like a kind we have over here that the Baltimore Orioles love to eat. I got a shot of one the other day.
