I was curious about your settings and by looking at your exif, I noticed your were in AV mode and getting a wide range of shutter speeds. Was there alot lot of strobe lights lighting the scene?

Shooting my daughthers first ballet is what drove me to DSLRs, these are the results I hope to achieve at her future events. My 70-200 2.8 IS came today and these shots have me really excited about this lenses capabiliaties. I love #3, the colors and motion displayed are great. Thanks for posting a wonderful series Light, composition, shooting technique matter to the end quality most. -Pekka
