Song's translation / Please help!

Hello everybody!! This is the first time I write in this forum and please, I need you to help me. This is the problem: I have to translate a song of Seal. It's name is DEEP WATER. I am Spanish and I have to translate it from English into Spanish, of coarse, but the problem is that I don't understand the song. I don't know what is he talking about, so I can't do a proper translation. It is very urgent, so if there is someone who knows this song and likes the singer...I will be very grateful if someone could explain to me the main idea and what is he refering to in these specific sentences:

"I jade the water and I burn the fire"
"Jade, a shade of pain an then we die"
"nuclears chemicals making their doom"

This is poetry. The words are arbitrary, and the meaning is not clear. It is not like a regular song, that tells you what is happening, or what he feels. Poetry is extremely hard to translate, because you have to know the entire context of the words. Is he talking about love, a flower?...

It all depends.

water is often referred to in poetry as our love our heart. TO jade the water or harden my heart.

The next line I believe he is showing you what he means by jade. Jade being a color of pain. His heart he turns to pain as he grows old then we die. We live with and become harder with the pain of life and heartache then we die. (kinda sad)

See the news every day and I think this line becomes all too clear. Man and our destructive technology as we advance paints a picture of destruction and hate. Burning out the love that is in this world by creating victims and hero's that get a moments thanks and a lifetime of painful memory's to reward their bravery.

Our ability to love is far exceeded by our lust for power and technology that provides it. Chemicals and weapons. The very weapons our leaders create will result in a world full of leaders with nobody to lead.

This is only the translation of a simpleton that does not have all the words in front of him to translate but it's a possibility. The great thing about poetry is there is no right answer. only how your heart see's it.

Bleh 3rd edit to delete comment. It's not a happy song begin with perhaps something showing love. then the tearing apart of that love and possibly moving towards a more war torn ending. I wish I had the full song to hear however that's just an idea. It's a little confusing to me as well without all the words

I should write all the lyrics because it is not easy to interpretate it if you don't know the context. By the way, I copy it now in case anything else occurs to you. And one more question: is it posible that, in the chorus, "Jade" was refering to a woman's name??
