So I purchased my copy of Adobe Creative Suite Design Premium CS3 and installed it on my new Mac Pro and my new Macbook (thanks for all who guided me to those computers). I have been using the program for about a week now. On my laptop today I got an error message that said "Licensing is no longer valid" (or something along those lines) I then uninstalled the program and reinstalled getting an error message once again that the program could not even be installed! So, I called Adobe. The told me to perform all of these tasks to get the program to install, none of which worked. So I am just going to format my harddrive to fix that problem (hopefully that works) but the most aggrevating part is that my product is no longer registered under my name Aaron (blank) but now some other last name. You think Adobe would have measures to prevent situations like this. I now can no longer use my CS3 on my laptop. What should I do?

Call Adobe. You have 30 days to return...even if opened and installed. At least that is what their customer service rep told me (I had some questions and didn't want to get saddled with the program if it didn't load on my PC properly).
The name change sounds bizarre to me.
Call them. Maybe ask for a 'fresh' copy.
You should not accept not being able to use it on two computers (as allowed...just not concurrently). Now if you somehow futzed your computer up then that may be a different story (then again, it's impossible to mess up a Mac right?...commercials say so...).

I had the same problem when I went from the demo version (beta) to the licensed version. The problem comes in that when you delete the beta version some of the licensing stuff gets trapped. I think this is the link

and

I had the adobe tech support guy walk me through it.

You don't need to reformat (DON"T DO IT).
