Exported Lightroom Galleries (primarily the Flash-based ones) take FOREVER to load it seems like. I've had friends and clients inform me that they often have to refresh or hit the play button or try and do something to get the initial image to load. Here's an example:

I know that the gallery is 40MB, so I don't mind it taking a minute or two to load (even though pre-loading would be super nice), but it just seems like it's dead sometimes.

Can someone chime in some information on this? Thankss! :)

Loads fast of my Core 2 Duo E6700 chip setup with a broadband connection. Very nice by the way too.

I have a Core 2 Duo E6400 2GB RAM, etc. on a 12MB Comcast connection. And I have a 1.7GHz Celeron laptop. Sometimes the galleries load instantly, other times it seems like they don't load at all. Others have reported this too. Hmm. I guess I'll just keep this bumped for feedback.

Thank you for checking, and thank you for the compliments. :)

Thank you sir. Well, I absolutely love Simpleviwer, and I found there is a Lightroom plug-in for it. Not only that, it looks better, pre-loads properly, and the footprint is a lot better (12MB vs. 40MB). :)

Visit that same link again and let me know what you think about the SimpleViewer plug-in. :)

Hi Mario,
I only just tried it out now and it appears fairly quick to me! However I never tried the Lightroom version. Nice pics.

Thanks! I just changed it to the Simpleviewer version. At the risk of sounding a little arrogant, I don't have time to deal with inconsistencies. I'm using these for customers proofs - I need it to be quick, simple, good-quality, and reliable. :)
