I have been asked to cover a 2 day jazz festival. The client wants a unedit cd within 7 days of shots then a edited cd within 14 days. The client is also a photographer, but doesn't have the time to cover the event themselves. Should I put a copyright on these images? The cleint told me that they only used 100 images out of a estimated 300 for web and promotion from last years event.

What terms did you and your client agree to in the contract? Those are the ones I'd follow.

The terms of the contract are that they will give me a booth in which I would use to shot photos and print on location ($400 value) for free. For a unedited and edited cd of the shots I take within 2 weeks.
