Certainly holding on to my 20D as the reach camera for wildlife and birds. And will replace that with a 30D or follow-on when it croaks. Even then I won't dump my 10-20 Sigma, although likely will sell of the 17-85 as the range is nicely duplicated by other L glass I have or will have. I too think it easier to use bodies with essentially the same controls, and much easier to carry two, switching out instead of changing lenses. Mel
