This was taken a few months ago. This guy just about hopped right over my foot without a care in the world as I was sitting in the grass photographing him. I don't know what the deal is with all the robins this year but they are EVERYWHERE. When they first started gathering it wasn't uncommon for me to count over 200 in one tree. Now I have a nest 2 feet from my front door with a few babies I had to rescue after a raid. Luckily that parents settled down and came back and now I get the joy of watching them feed the remaining young. I took a few pictures, but I'm mainly leaving them alone so they won't feel any more threatened than they already have been!

Very nice shot. And I know what you mean about the robins. Never seen so many in decades, and acting weird too. I thought it was like buck fever in rut time, but then, robins never have been too shy. :)
