I've been taking pictures with a G3... some in jpeg and some in raw. I open them in PS CS, post-process them and the save for the web. I usually use the duplicate layer within PS to make modifications and then I flatten image before saving. When saving, I usually set quality to Max. I can edit these saved images in Image Ready but if I try to load them into Image Composer I get an error indicating "Unsupported format or format variant". The original jpeg will load into Image Composer without any problem. I can load the modified jpeg into Fireworks MX and Save As only to run into the same issue with Image Composer. I've opened the original in PS, saved for the web without making any changes and I get the same error.

Image Composer seems to shrink the image size better than PS CS does... that's why I use it.

Anyone else ever experience this type of problem? Any suggestions on a solution?

Found cause of my problem.

Adobe CameraRaw_2_2.zip

This plug-in, from Adobe seems to have caused my issue. Reported bug to Adobe.

Removed plug-in, returned to previous version of plug-in. Error no longer identified when loading PS CS saved image into Image Composer.
