Cockatoos in flight

This was a very quick snapshot of some cockatoos in flight. I had been shooting something else when we heard the racket they were making. Looking up there were about 30 flying overhead. You really need to hear them to understand the amount of noise a large number of cockatoos can make.

By the time I raised the camera and fired off a shot they were gone. Pure luck that I got this one and my settings weren't the best. I then had to do a bit of PPing to lighten the shadows under the wings.

white sulpher crested cockatoo's and then theres a few different types of black cocky's too.
the birds in the pic are little corellas.
do a google search and you'll find out more.

with the 2 birds close to each other, gave me the feeling that it is one of those high-speed frame by frame kind of motion photography...
