You appear to have posted this in 3 threads now ;) we get the message!

Fill light has made it into LR, not sure of your point here.

Yea maybe I put it too many places but I was frustrated with the damn slider sticking tonite ;) . and going back to RSP to compare so I guess I ranted. LR does have a fill light but if you have RSP it is better in my opinion.
Promise no more rants :)

Rant understood! How much RAM have you got? I upgraded from 1 to 2GB when I got LR and it seems OK, but have to say I have not yet got round to serious developing yet,.... nearly 500 images waiting to be done!

I have to admit I prefer the options in LR but have yet to really compare the results.. have you done side by side with RSP? That would be interesting.

I do not understand they they do not use the better parts of the awesome RSP .

Um maybe because one (RSP) is optimized for one and only one platform and the other has to work on at LEAST two that we know of?
Maybe because Lr is built on a database and that has as many tradeoffs as advantages?
Maybe because Lr is primarily written in Lua?
Maybe because they havent made it a priority yet, despite the mad cash they made from the initial release?

People's conception of what goes into software development often has no correlation with reality. I want all of these features too of course, but you have to understand the realities of the situation. Read Jeff Shewe's history of Shadowland if you want the full story.

Sounds darn good!

Hope they have done as much with the other modules in LR!

Much better tagging (see any of mine or DavidRebelXT's posts on this subject in these threads) much more akin to the intuitive tagging in PSE Organizer....

I've never used the PSE Organizer Al, and I can't comment on the 1.1 changes at this point, but I'll be very interested to read your comments when you try 1.1, and then we will discuss further!! :D
