Went to check on the Wren Family again today and saw them still bringing nesting materials in. Not sure if this is to add to the nest after laying eggs, or they haven't laid eggs yet. But, I missed that shot but got some other interesting stuff in the daily life of being a wren.

Thanks Gary. Yes, I wanted to document the whole nesting process if I can. I guess I need to read up on them to see what incubation time is so I have some idea how long it will take. Don't want to miss them leaving the nest. :)

Thanks Jason, yes, most of these are with the Beamer on. The distance isn't that great, but without it is just not enough.

Thanks Kevin and Reyno. Reyno, I used the noise reduction process from that link you gave me earlier. I like it. It works great. :)

Nice series Mitch. All the Wrens on my travels, seem to be more elusive than ever, hiding low in the hedgerows. The foliage doesn't help either.

Thanks Adi and Karen. Yes, they do that here too. That's why I am so stoked about finding a nesting pair that will allow me to get close and take their pictures. Most of these are from 15-20 feet. ;)

I think the first and second shot is extra special, while the set is pretty funny too... It's not everyday you see these things happening in the woods... Great thing you managed to capture the event... Thanks for sharing Mitch...

Thanks John. I've been shooting this little pair for about 2 weeks now and I am still in awe of these tiny guys. I'm going to take advantage of my good luck while it lasts. :)

Thanks sindri. These guys are so tiny I can not see details of them from only 20 feet away without looking through the Bigma. :)

Very nice, I love the peekaboo pose in the first shot the best - very cute and I will look forward to seeing more of these wrens, thanks for sharing.:)
