Just curious what everyone uses to print? DPP, Photoshop's print with preview, Qimage.

I have started using PS print with preview, but was trying to find if there was an easier way with more options.

Canon has a Easy Photoprint software that it includes with it's printers, I like how the layout and ease of use is. Any recommendations? Thanks.

I used Photoshop but didn't like it. Now I use Lightroom but it still doesn't have all the functions I would like. I heard QImage is nice but haven't tried it. I have started sending out my prints more lately rather than printing at home so LR and CS2 are working fine for me now.

I find Qimage is best for me. Not particularly expensive, and as they bring out improved versions the upgrades are free. I think you can download a trial version. The Canon easy photoprint software is ok, but of course you have to have a Canon printer. I've had mixed results printing directly from CS2 though. It's probably me doing something wrong but I can never guarantee that I'll get what I expect to get.

Photoshop with softproofing. (link in my sig ;))
I never do large series of a print in different sizes, so I see no benefit to Qimage (if there is, enlighten me).
I don't like the Canon software last time I tried it. I prefer some non Canon papers, and all images get processed in PS anyways...

Qimage. The ability to soft proof and manipulate every aspect of the print process from paper position, up-sizing, multiple images, .... I could go on and on. Not for everyone but it's worth every cent.

I'v read through your colour management link (nice job btw) and the LL link on soft proofing. I was wondering if you start your image editing with soft proofing enabled for your intended print media? Or do you edit under argb and then do the soft proof before print and tweak to taste?

I covered that in my last post (page 3 I think), and put a link to that post in the OP ;)

I'm printing on a Epson R200, and possibly upgrading to a R1800. Has anyone used Epson's Easy Print software? I've used it in the past and it worked pretty well, just wondering if anyone else had good results with it?
