I've been watching for a Rose-breasted Grosbeak for about a week. They had been reported all over the Island and I finally got mine today.

HAHA, great shots Dan. I still have a pair here after 3 or 4 weeks. I hope they are nesting near by.

Great shots, Dan. I was hoping to have one visit my feeder, but it hasn't happened yet.
Love the angle on the second shot. You hiding in the truck?

Real nice captures snowyowl13...

Maybe, I'm too close to the big cities, cause I only see one occasionally... Mostly; it's rarely...

Glad that you share these with us... It helps me brush up on their color patterns...

Really like the second one. I have been hunting the male with very little luck. I grabbed a few of the female Grosbeak this past weekend, but mired in dense bushes. Maybe I'll put a feeder in the woods and see if that will attract them. Nice shots.
