Flicker Feeding Young

Still watching this nest, 60' away and maybe 80' up at the top of a dead tree. The young one is large and about ready to fly, I think (but if I was 80' up Mom might have to push me out of that hole!) I saw one male chick and not sure there was another. At times the young one was half out of the hole looking around for mom and dad. Both parents were bringing him food. This was a long distance shot in bright light, so the shadows were challenging! Thanks for looking!

Thanks! I got quite a few shots, kept thinking I'd catch the baby flying for the first time! I bet if I go back in a few days he will be gone....

It's just the angle, it is quite a wide hole. I have one shot of the fledgling with both feet on the edge and his head and top of his wings out. He is about ready to fly.
