The bowling alley at 13 and Gratiot! I used to show my 340 '68 Cuda there years and years ago. Now my son and I will catch a hamburger at Ruby Tuesday's and walk across to look at the good stuff.

Sold the car way back when.. a time long , long ago.

It has 11.8 written all over! That model weighed quite a bit so I would think 12.3 would be pushing it.

That's why I stick to the imports, lighter, and quicker, even with the little 4's, but I still enjoy cars, nothing can beat the sound of a V8.

I lean more towards GM. I used to really be in the Import Scene during Highschool then got wise.

340 '68 Cuda

Good man! I had a '69 383 "S".

11.8 ... 12.3

Splitting hairs. Just let me in it! :D
He's probably upgraded it some more over the winter.

nothing can beat the sound of a V8.

Truth! Itty bitty motors winding 14 grand give me a headache! I'd still drive one if someone offered though. ;)

Thanks for resurrecting this thread.

From the looks of the set up, I'm inclined to lean more towards high 10's, to low 11's. ;)

The Captain and crew finally got their stuff together, now if we can only remember where we left it.

I'd have to see it, I don't believe it'd pull 10's, not saying it wouldn't, but I honestly don't buy it, unless thats one hell of a shot of nitrous he's spraying.

The mechanics here at work took a look just a few minutes ago and they feel confident this particular car would be in the 10's. They poured over the engine, the interior framing etc... The head mechanic said he had a RR years ago with just a six pack and pulled 12.1.

I'll take your word then, but the real question is, can he run 10's all day, and drive it home ;)

He did for the Pinks show (earlier post) & was too fast for the bracket they chose for the finals. And the full quote is "In street trim with the .613" lift cam, it puts out about 800bhp & will turn 10s in the quarter mile,..." ;)
