I've read a few sites that say use photoshop 'save to web' when wanting to upload photos to the net. Do most of you use this? or something else?

Do you convert the raw file to jpg then to web?

I converted my raw to jpg (which looks fine), but once uploading to the web (facebook) my images have poor colour.

I use Photoshop CS' Save for Web when saving as jpeg. Works great.

you have to convert your image to sRGB color space before you save for web. Edit>Convert to Profile. Your probably working in Adobe RGB from the camera.

I don't use Save for Web because it strips the EXIF data. I prefer to use Image Ready that came with CS2 or Lightroom's Export feature.

Note that you do have to set IR to include ICC profile, EXIF and IPTC. It doesn't by default...

Correct. I have it saved as a preset in the drop down menu.
