Taken yesterday, the Victoria Day holiday in Canada.

Kind of reminds you of a 'Ferbie'

Taken with flash....and over-cooked a bit!

Yeeeeessss... Way Great... (what did you all do, knit this bird a Camo Sweater?) ;) If you hadn't said there is an owl inside this tree...well, you know... I'd still be looking for something there... Great captures... most interesting and fascinating too...

Great shots of this little cutie. I always thought they looked like a giant cat tail with eyes.

Yes, you could walk by the tree hundreds of times and not know they were there, although they do make a lot of noise :D

Absolutely Awesome... They seem to act like people... How neat that is... Wow, Scott... You certainly came up with another suspenseful "winner" photo...

Photographs are records of life. Pity they don't make music when you put them in a record player. :p

Those are great!! :D

Thanks John & Alyssa,

I'll be back again on the weekend and hopefully will get some more good shots. This nest is only about 12 feet above the ground so it was easy to set the tripod up and shoot away.

Hi Frank,

Pa is around but I haven't seen him yet (hopefully this weekend).
Ma can be seen https://photography-on-the.net/forum/showthread.php?t=323711

or https://photography-on-the.net/forum/showthread.php?t=323659

There are two fledglings, the link above shows the other fledgling rather than the one in the nest.
