This is all I seem to get at my feeder...

I am trying to attract more birds, but so far I have lots of doves. I have seem several types of Black Birds, Male Cardinal, Blues Jays, and some other little birds. I think I will make a few more feeders and put them in various places in the back yard.

Nice close shot of the dove. I have several feeders and sticks that I brought from the woods and stuck into the grass for them to perch on before hitting the feeders. I use a generic mixed songbird feed I get from Walmart, and Black Oil Sunflower seeds, which every bird seems to love. I also keep a supply of unsalted peanuts for the bluejays, and I put out suet cakes for them when it's cold.

It took about 3 weeks for all the birds to find the food, but once they did, I have a steady parade of at least 10 species of birds that come to my yard for photosessions, depending on the time of year.
