New 30D; quick question...

I got my 30D today; and itmight have a problem..

If anyone has a 30D nearby; can you try something...

Go into a non green square mode (Like Tv) and change to activate All focus points.
Try to focus on something. Even with the menu option set for "display" it doesn't show me which focus points achieved focus.

If I change to ANY single focal point; it lights up like it should.

On my 20D; if 4 or 5 of the focal points were able to achieve focus when all AF points are active; they will turn red. On this 30D they don't.
Also.. The bag containing the Manuals was open, not sealed. I'm wondering if someone else might have sent this back...

Check to make sure the AF is not set for AI Servo. Focus lights don't show in servo mode.

go to the CF that says to illuminate the focus points. That should fix you up.

I see the points that were used.
