Was very fortunate last week to capture this guy at Point Pelee with Marc (Blackburnian). It took me forever to see him Marc could see him from a fair distance, talk about camouflage. Thanks for viewing.

Depends on when you go. It can be boom or bust. The few days I was up there it was mostly bust. According to one guy at the Visitor Centre, Saturday was rated 0.1 on a scale of 1 to 10 for number of bird sightings. Sunday was 3 to 4. The temperature on Monday morning was on the cool side. Had much better success at Rondeau Provincial Park about one hour east of Point Pelee.

Nice shot of the Eastern Screech owl. Looks like a defensive pose....much like what Long-ear owls do when they want to make themselves less noticeable.
