Hey, Tapeman. If you really want to be like those of us who already ordered (and is some cases, got) a Mk II, then you have to be much more obnoxious that this.

About once a day you have to post a message complaining about not knowing the status of your order, etc., etc.. Then, when you finally get it, make sure you mention how anxious you are waiting for the battery to charge. Finally, post a picture or two and rave about the low noise at ISO 400. We've all done these things, and we expect others to do it to.

I guess you could say that these are all rites of passage and are essential pieces of the Mk II ownership experience.

.... okay, I'll start. Ordered mine back in March, but then had to cancel the order or wife would have killed me.... Well, after a lot of "honey do's", she gave in and let me reorder it this past Monday. Now I'm in the waiting game like most of us. I'm not sure haw long it will take NOW, but I went back to where I originally ordered it and they indicated that they would work on my priority. Yeah right! ! ! I just hope I get mine by July so I can play with it for a few weeks before I head to England with my son's college soccer team. By that time I should be able to take advantage of everyone else's learning curve!

Well, since he hasn't chimed in on this yet, let me do my best Bob G. - 'I didn't know there was a MKII version of the 1Ds'. Is that 11MP with 8.5 FPS?
