I couldn't decide between the two so I'll post both.
Hope it's worth it. I was really looking for a rainbow.

EOS 300D, ISO 200, 1/4000, f/8.0, 400mm

Good job on not completely blowing out the sun. Looks good. I like #2, but would have liked to have seen more trees. The sun touching the cloud looks good.


You can take my 100-400 L away when you pry it from my cold, dead fingers.

Thanks, Scottes. Getting more of anything in there would have proved difficult, since both photos were taken from my rooftop. These were shot in the aftermath of a short thunderstorm and a frantic call from wife about a
huge rainbow gracing the major highway near where we live. Unfortunately, by the time I got up on the roof the rainbow was in its final stages and I
never did get to shoot it. So I shot ol' sol, instead.
