It looks to me like the edge of a memory card of some kind. The contact points.

No, no music instrument.
Strips are 1mm ( 0.04") wide.

Sorry it was difficult. Not many people have seen the device.
But you never know who is on the forum.

It was portion of Secondary Emission Monitor.
Device to measure particles beam intensity and profile in accelerator.
