I was shooting a model last weekend and her manager sees my camera and lens sitting on the table across the room. While I was talking to the girl he gets up from where we were all sitting and walks over to the camera. When he got up and started heading towards my camera I got nervous and ended the conversation I was having with the model. Then he stops and looks at the camera but doesn't touch it.... Then he noticed we were both watching him and he says:

manager: "Oh you're shooting with a 5d"
me: "yep"
manager: "that's cool, how do you like it?"
me: "dunno, it gets the job done"
manager: "oh yeah? Well I have a 30D!"
me: "yeah that's a great camera"
manager: "yeah It costed me almost $2,000"
me: "wow that's alot of money!"
manager: "yeah, it's a professional camera, it has a built on flash too. I see you don't have one, how much did this 5d cost"
me: "oh I donno, it was a couple dollars"
manager: "couple dollars? what like $1000?"
me: "yeah something like that."

people are weird

Waiter: "That's a nice camera."
Me: "Thanks."
Waiter: "You're not using a flash. It doesn't have a flash on it?"
Me: "There is enough light here for the picture to turn out."
Waiter: "Wow, that camera must be very expensive."
Me: "Yes, it is."
Waiter: "How much did you pay for it?"
Me: :) "I shoot pro."
Waiter: "No flash, though, huh?"

Went back to my food.

Yeah, I was looking at P&S's the other day at Costco and 1/2 of them don't have viewfinders, but have big LCD's. What's that?
