Can anybody reccomend a good tripod/head combo for my 30D and Bigma. I want something that isnt gonna bounce around with the weight.

Canon EOS 30D, Canon EF-S 18-55mm II, Canon EF 70-200mm f/4 L, Canon 580EX Speedlite, Kenko Pro 300 DG 1.4x TC, Canon RS80N3 Remote Switch, Manfrotto Pro 055CLB Tripod, Manfrotto 322RC2 Tripod Head.

For the bigma, I'd recommend something sturdy. No personal experience with it, but I'd guess a bigger Gitzo (series 3 would be absolute minimum) and Gimbal head would be best... I agree. jr_senator Goldmember 4,861 posts Joined Sep 2006 More info | May 26, 2007 13:03 | #6 My sturdiest combo is a Bogen 3246 tripod with the Bogen 3275 (410) gear head. I would think that combo would handle the 'Bigma'.
