I haven't posted for a while. I've been so busy with my vacation and life.:eek: Here are a few of a beautiful Florida bird and i hope you like them. I took these right after a big rain. Thanks for looking.

Lovely captures. These birds are gorgeous this time of year with their courting plummage, which shows up well in all of your shots.


My Gear: 6D, 7D, EOS-M w EF-M 22 f2 STM and EF-M 18-55 f3.5-5.6 IS STM, 17-40L f4, 24-70L f2.8, 100 f2.8 non-IS macro, 70-200L f/4 IS, 400L f5.6,, Canon 1.4x II TC, Canon Speedlite 430 EX II, Better Beamer. Great Shots!! If you ever want to seee thousands of these beautiful birds. Check out Avery Island in South West Louisiana. Avery Island is Home to the Tabasco Hot Sauce Factory, and the owner was a naturalist.

He created a habitat for these birds when they were almost extinct, and now thousands of them come each spring to nest on the island.

It's a pretty amazing sight at sunset as hundreds of them come back to the nest at once.
