Cropped, de-haze USM applied and eye candy stuff (border and text). Constrained to 800px, saved at JPEG Q8.

Great potential here. I would try increasing contrast/saturation to bring out the reds in the sky.

Shame about the burn out though (or whatever you call it) of the sun. I don't think you can do anything about that.

It was definitely a "gold sky" morning...but I'll mess about with the saturation and see how it looks...thanks for the tip!

I've done some of the of "nothing but sun" pics, but it seems to be a lot easier during sunset than sunrise...and I like the photos that are a bit "truer" to life. I was just happy not to have underexposed by 1 - 1.5 stops like I usually do!!

That said, I may pull a bit of exposure off and see how THAT looks, as well...
