I went out this morning before work and paid a visit to my favorite pond which I can drive right up next to. Didn't even get out of the car to take this shot.

The first one shows how well hidden it was. I could hear it and knew it was very close but just could see it.

I havent seen one so out in the open, what were you tempting it with Shirley :p. Nicely done, I am hoping to upgrade my shots of this bird this year.
