canon printers and canon printing software

i have 2 canon printers, ip5000 and i9900. when i print using the easy photo print, my photos come out looking a bit dull.

if i use photoshop or something else to print, they come out looking vibrant and match the screen.

I am thinking that this didn't use to occur before w/ the canon software....any suggestions?

I don't know enough about the Easy Photo but your color and paper profiles may be a start.
