im kinda new to this so bear with me.
I dont have P.S. but im getting elements 5.0 soon. recently i have been using this crappy program for my PP its called "microsoft picture it". when ever I edit a photo and save it as a jpg the program changes the size (smaller).
this is alright for my p.c. but i have know idea how to have prints made of my PP versions... im assuming the dimmensions would have to be the same as the original for a photo lab to print them for me, is this correct? and could I just put jpg files on a CD to have them printed, or is this wrong?
lastly, when I get photoshop will it alow me to edit a photo and still maintain all the same sizes and formats so that a photo lab could make prints/ enlargemnts.
i tried looking for this info.. sorry if this is asked a lot.
