Not sure if this is appropriate here.....but I thought I'd share this..Cord Cameras is having a buy one get one sale...Sandisk Ultra II 1 GB are $24, 2 GB are $34.

I got my Sandisk Extreme III 8gb for $58 shipped after rebate from buydig a few weeks ago.

Personally, I'm not in the market for these Ultra IIs, after having picked up a couple of inexpensive 8GB Sandisk Extreme III cards from Adorama, earlier this month. But I guess this may not be all that bad a deal, for someone wanting a few moderate capacity Ultra II cards, at 2-for-1 prices, from what seems to be a reputable seller, with potentially free shipping and no need to bother with mail-in rebates.

Prices will keep coming down on memory cards, no need to grab ones on sale unless you are actually needing more.

That's a hekuva' price you got there for 2! I imagine we'll be seeing a fair amount of that with holiday sales.

Actually, for some us where write speed is a factor, the Ultra II's are the better deal. For my 30D, Rob Galbraith's site has the Ultra II's clocked in faster than the Extreme III 8GB. In sports photography, that's all that matters to me.

And not sure if it's a glitch or what, but when I ordered my 2GB Ultra II online, shipping showed $0.00 on my invoice even though the order was only $34.99. We'll see what shows up on the credit card.

exactly. Mine too. I just did mine five mins ago.

I don't see the 2 for 1 deal anymore.

I just ordered the 2 for 1 this morning---it is still listed on the main home page. When you put order in cart it doesn't show the free card so I called to confirm. Cord says they automatically double the order and you can add a note in the comment section to remind them. Was told the offer will be good until they "run out of excess of cards!"

I ordered mine on the Tuesday and the order's been processed but hasn't shipped out yet.
