The irony is that for many portraits you don't need to bother because it's outside the Depth of Focus.

Both these pans are 1/80 sec with 70-200 2.8L non IS. I love going low a really getting lots of motions...Still not perfect but working on it!

Had a chance to go to the I.O.M TT last year(06) filled a couple of cards and ended up with a couple of shots ;)

This is admittedly a crop of the original but one of my best from the day as it was extremely hot and in the original version you can actually see sweat dripping off the riders glasses.

Me thinks I've a long way to go based on the other posts in this forum.
