Looks too photoshopped to me. If it were truely a pan shot, why is there no rotation of the wheels?

Really??...
There's no photoshop or tricks used in that champ.
The answer is in the post - she used an off camera flash. You can see it in
the bottom right hand corner.

Great pic Tessa.

Sir, if there is no photoshopping involved in this photo, please explain to me the ghosting at the rear of the car. The off camera flash at the bottom of the photo is in perfect focus, yet everything above it is a motion blur. It defies all physics. You failed too explain why no wheel rotation evident given the suggested speed of the background. Sorry I just don't buy it.

The flash isn't in "perfect" focus.. you can see the trail of the unit across the top of it. There is no wheel rotation because the flash stopped it in motion (much like the grass in front of the flash), the pan caused the motion blue behind the vehicle.

i believe the photo is not photoshopped

and i also believe using enough flash to freeze the wheels defeats the usual purpose of panning.

but it's not my photo so i don't know what the goal of it was.

It was my first time there. Is there a possibility for you to make the thread open to anyone to post their Road America 2013 photos so that we all have one pool of the photos in one thread?
