I came to the F1 race last year and it was crowded. Friday was the best chance to move around and get decent shots but Sunday was a little rough. Big crowds and lots of bleachers. It's a little challenging to get good views of the track without a fence being I your shot but for a smaller race like this, it seems a lot more open and the opportunity is there. As for parking for F1, yes you probably won't be able to park at the track. The shuttle service last year was actually impressive I thought for the first run of such a big event, and if this race is any sign, they are constantly working and improvng things at the track.
