Bikes are too fast but sometimes you get lucky.

NASCAR at ATL Speedway on 3/1/15. It was cold as heck and tons of catch fence in the way.

I can't tell you how many otherwise awesome shots I've gotten at COTA that ended up with a car being impaled by the fencing. Why can't they just use force fields like every science fiction movie does? -?

No kidding hard to find spots at COTA where there isn't any fence in the way. It would be cool if you could get to the inside of the track too. Shooting them on the straight is pretty much impossible if you aren't in the RV area. There is a little retaining wall along the path back up the hill from the hairpin. Couple of decent shots from there are possible. The one you always see in the videos of them coming over the hill and some of the backstretch.

Might not be my best, but definitely my most recent. Yesterday at Road Atlanta, these two shot from a long way away on a very wet and rainy day.

I liked this one about to go under the bridge also.

Might not be my absolute "best" but it was the most fun, trying to get the shot, through the trees. 1/50th of a second.
