Also Mozes, really liking these through the trees shots! Is it hard to maintain focus with the trees whipping by?

No its "easy".
Put the camera in manual.
Focus where you want to take the picture, (put the camera in focus priority).
Start tracking when its out off focus, when it coms in focus the camera will take the picture.

Not my best panning shot, but since we're on the subject of Supermoto style bikes, check out this one that I saw at the track a few days ago. He had 3 other buddies there, with their bikes as well. All were very cool, with extended swing arms.

Here's a few from the NHRA Vegas 1 Race last weekend (April 1st, 2016).

These were shot handheld with my Canon 5DMK3.

Well, it’s a motorsport, just a 1/5 scale one. I tried shooting some RC cars last Saturday. They had chainsaw motors in them and weighed about 25 pounds. They are really fast and when they’re on the dirt, they are really difficult to pan well as they are bouncing all over. But it was a new challenge and I got some good shots.

I'm guessing that the amount of vibration the noise of those things creates would necessitate a higher shutter speed to freeze vertical motion of the camera itself.
