Not an overly exciting shot, but it was shot with a 600mm, and tracking anything perfectly with that much glass hanging off the body is tricky.

The head is just sharp enough for me. Very nice!

this was my very first attempt at panning, shot at 1/30s and im curious how to make it better, please critique!
Are you guys shooting off a tripod or free hand?

Have a play around with your distance from the subject, it can be one of the most influencing factors of a panning shot. I shoot all my pans handheld, or with a monopod when using my 300mm.

The only advice I can really give to improve is to just practice heaps haha, you can never get too good at panning technique.
