Here I was impressed with your 1/25th. Now I'm a bit confused. I thought Whip Pans were only a cinematic effect used for scene transitions. How would they be used for a single still shot? Could you provide any examples of the technique? All I find online are the cinematic types. Thanks. Larry

I personally don't like video, I call them "cheaters". LOL. I may be wrong, I do not pretend to speak for him.

It messed with my head...1/2 to full second...pan with the car at speed first and then time it to whip the camera for the last half of the exposure...I will post links later. Website

Words fail me. This is very artsy and while I’m impressed with the uniqueness and the time involved, I’ll pass. I know that at my age, I’m too shaky to even try shooting at a quarter second. And if it would take me 75 to 100 attempts to get a good shot, I’m sure I’d runout of patience long before that. Larry
