Great shot, interested to know how it was taken, my guess was a rig on the car then photoshopped out. Reflections on the car don’t indicate a wayside shot as such?

Thank you, and yes, you are correct. It was a rig shot, using a Rig Pro setup.

looks like the motion blur was added in post, its not consistent through the frame, and there looks to be some odd cloning going on the right side...and great sharpness front to back on the car...really hard to do that with a slower shutter speed and not have something in motion...but...only photogs are gonna pick up on that stuff...so ignoring all that stuff that we might see...its a cool shot.

Actually I was referring to the motion blur which runs the wrong way for a panning shot. You have confirmed this by admitting that the shot was taken using a car-rig. So it's not really a panning shot is it.

This was pretty fun, over the weekend, just trying to go as low as I could, handheld. This was the best I could come up with :-D

If it was a rig on the car...why the background in front of the car & sky not blurred?

The parallax effect. Objects in the distance appear to move more slowly than objects close to the camera, therefore don’t blur. The car doesn’t blur at all because the camera is fixed to it.

Nope. But considering there was motion involved in the shot (even though it is much more of a portrait shot), I didn't feel that it would fit very well in the "nonmoving car portrait" thread either.;-)a
