It's not a high-speed sport, so panning isn't usually a requirement, but at one event recently, the riders had to scoot between sections through a field of tall, drought-stricken grass. Mrs Wife and I were there to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary. Image hosted by forum (935686) © Spencerphoto [SHARE LINK] THIS IS A LOW QUALITY PREVIEW. Landtank Member More info | That is correct, it was the only old F1 car out on track. Never thought I'd see one at Lime Rock Park to be honest. TJ Valet

Pippan Cream of the Crop More info | I remember Michele Alboreto racing for Ferrari in the mid 80s when Ferrari was struggling. He must have gone to Benneton/Tyrell later. Still waiting for the wisdom they promised would be worth getting old for.

I see, thank you. I saw him race (for Ferrari) at Adelaide in 1985. He didn't finish. Race was won by Keke Rosberg (Nico's father). Ayrton Senna's engine blew and he crashed out right in front of me and away from TV cameras. It was also Niki Lauda's last race and he led it for 2 laps before his brakes gave out and he hit the wall. Still waiting for the wisdom they promised would be worth getting old for.
