Yep use to be a bean field, I bought 20 acers and had a pond dug and started planting trees back in 1987 and now I am starting to get quite a few birds. Last week I was looking out the kitchen window drinking coffee and had a Bald Eagle fly right over the pond. Not bad for living in Mount Morris, MI.

Looks like you got a nesting waxwing too. And nice catch on the flying little heron.

Thanks Mitch, yes but I can't seem to find out where yet. I also have seen an Oriel but with the leaves on it's hard to get that one.

i like the 5th shot the best, the one posing on the branch. what a cute little bird. it looks like he is sitting there waiting for you to take his picture!
