Harsh light, but these are the first I've had an opportunity to shoot this species.

Great pictures! I see them here regularly but they do like to stay in the dark areas of the mangroves! Tough to shoot.

You're right about the harsh Sun, but these birds are still amazing and well captured. You were lucky to see these and be able to photograph them.
