I was guest at this wedding, but asked to bring my camera..C&C Please

This is my first post in this section,
I was asked by a collegue of mine to bring a little gear to her wedding and shoot from where I was sitting just like any guest. I was wondering what you folks thought of these. Comments and suggestions appreciated. Andd does anyone know why my pictures seem to have this pink cast? all the walls were white...but the carpet was red...could that have done it?

pictures all came out great! the pink comes from a mix of the lighting over head (yellow) and the dresses along with the rug. take you less then a minute to color balance them so no biggies.
from those pictures, by any chance, did u bring one prime lens? *wink*

Actually I brought quite a few, but changed lenses once the whole day...I really wanted to just watch the event. I haven't had a chance to see her real pictures yet, but I am defianely looking foward to them.

The yellow over head lighting...I'm just curious is there anyway I could have fixed these in camera. It's not a big deal though becuase I did shoot in raw, but would like to know anyway.

u can set the cameras white balance via the camera's menu. But, just using flash (if they not too far) would erase that color and u can just balance the background in PS.

The expression of the flowerboy in the first one is priceless! He seems to say: "Just laugh at me. Ha. Ha. Then we'll see who's laughing!"

whoops I guess the carpet wasn't red..but rose...I can see it in the first picture.

Love the Flower boy. His expression will be commented on by his family for years. Who ever chose his tie did a good job.

If you shoot in RAW you get complete control of WB in post processing using programs like Canon DPS and Adobe Lightroom.
