I was playing around with this image and I tried something a little radical and can't decide if I like it or not. I start hating it, then I walk away and come back and go "Hmm, maybe I do like it." Then I look at it more and start going the other way again. Do you guys ever do that? Anyway, CC away. It's a crop (obviously) so if you think I should move it around any let me know that too.

I like the crop its the contrast I'm not sure about.

I'm sorry, that just doesn't work for me. The contrast is too much (even as an effect) and the crop make her face look deformed (by the jaw). A bit larger crop vertically to reveal more of her face would probably help this shot.

Just my $0.01.

Thanks for the input! Here is another version with suggested corrections. You can see why I went with the original crop. Does this work better?

She'll like it better cropped.

That's what I was thinking. I really like the expression, but the neck area isn't too flattering in this shot. So maybe stick with the original crop and ease up on the contrast a bit? Was the second version better as far as PP? Maybe somewhere between the two?

Thanks for the input guys!
Chris

Neither crop does anything for me, the first one looks like something is missing and the second really highlight the double chin, I think one that was a little more loosely cropped would work better.

Both PP also don't work for me. I think the original exposure may be a little off, she's a bit blow out and he's too dark, but that could just be the B7W conversion, try doing something a little softer, I think it will be much more flattering.

I like the pp on the second, and maybe even the first - but I don't like the crops on either one at all. I don't mind a really high contrast image for an effect (used sparingly) but composition and crop are always the most important thing to me.

The first one her face is a bit bright, but what do I know. I'm new here as well. The last one looks better. But Airfrog is right, she will like the cropped image better.

i still feel the cropped one looks funky around her chin. kinda deformed. The bride knows what she looks like and if u go cutting off her chin, she might take that to mean she has a funny chin? to me she is just a big, beautiful bride with nothing to hide!!!
